I am a first time post writer. When I read down to this section I had to write something. I have been in sales all my life and our marketing is a total joke. I had to write because we all talk to each other about this and keep hoping they will change her out and it never happens. We all wonder what she has on them that keeps her employed and how they can explain to the board that the competition has a better marketing plan than we do every year. They say when they give you lemons to make lemonade. But we ain’t getting lemons. We are getting sh-t. Give us the right CMO and watch us torch the competition.

Fire her a-s and try a new marketing scheme. Why do they hold us accountable but keep her archaic strategy? Does accountability only imply to us in sales but not the marketing lead giving us the direction? I may have just been at the bar but this was the topic of conversation amongst us tonight and every day. Who does she know and what favors has she granted that they keep this d-mb bi--h and moved her a-s around to other jobs to fu-k up instead of going a new direction and giving us a new vision. That ain’t the tequila talking, that’s just reality. Night night.

She must still be in charge. Our marketing is still stale and old thinking.

i don't know what y'all are talking about. I hope the US Foods CMO stays forever. Her sales strategy has helped me hit record sales numbers this year. I am also off to an amazing year again. That and the hiring decisions and management of US Foods have been amazing. I ask all of my prospects to come read these posts and make their own decision on who to sign with. That protection post is classic and shows them who will be safeguarding any information on their company and keeping it confidential when the drivers see something at their establishments. It has been wildly successful and I owe it all to all of y'all managing US Foods. Keep up the great work. A warm thank you from the PFG region sales champion! My family and I appreciate all of the new toys and place.

It is Striking how the numbers and positions reflect racism within US Foods. I had research it myself. As a minority purchasing manager of a company that still supports fairness to all, I will be speaking of this to our purchasing vice president and recommending a change for all of our healthcare system. Your conduct and representation is just not acceptable.

She is in our region now and doesn’t know what to do. Our VPs are all talking about what a dum--ss decision it was to assign her to us, I agree, instead of moving her, get rid of her. She must have something on someone to get this special help.

@19f fu-k that! Matin L king didn’t stop marching until the change was made. Keep the pressure on and lower sales until they change their ways. I’m not black and not a a woman but I am oppressed here.

Thank you customers! We appreciate you! Please keep fighting for us.

Thank you customers. There are changes happening inside our company. Before you give up on us let’s see if they will make the changes they need to make this month. If not then leave us. There’s been some announcements and changes and maybe the right ones will be done this week or next. If not, do what you need to do.

Thank you. I am a customer with only a couple of restaurants but I will start moving that over to Sysco or another food service. i won't give another dime to a company that behaves in this way. We adore our delivery guys and will miss them once we are done with the last orders. Get your act together US Foods and do what's right by your employees and hire employees to reflect all them. And I find this out on MLK day.

So what's new? I've been at Sysco too and they are much more inclusive and why they had American Africans in charge of HR, Security, Safety, and Compliance when I wad there. 3 of the 4 are still led by them. I would have still been there but I am 5 minutes from work now and I used to have to drive an hour and a half one way. They also hired better applicants so work was less scary. And they had what they called zero tolerance on racist or s-xist talk. When he first got here, the Kernal told us they fired a VP O somewhere he had traveled to. He told us she was a crazy 'g-y gal' who used to be dropped off at work by her hot wife and she had fu---d up her warehouse culture. We were afraid to say sh-t like that when I was at Sysco because we would've been tossed out on our a-s. But here at US F it is totally fine. It is not the first time I had heard off color jokes or comments from different individuals here. So none of this sh-t is shocking me.

Thank you HR angel. I looked up the ELT of PFG and they only have 5 executives but one is a person of color in CHR. My old work was Sysco and they have 2 or 3 on their ELT. I remember that our VP of safety & security was a black person too which made our minorities in our centers feel better and trust the process more. I am not a DEI supporter but I am a fairness guy and having no one is not fair to my american union brothers here. Can I call the EEOC though I am white? The others are union brothers and they deserve to have fair representation.

It is I again. This is an area we surely need to improve in. The same applies within my very own HR team who is suppose to keep an eye for disparities on this issue. Our CHRO is a white male from the Southeast part of the U.S.A. which is not strong in recognizing this as an important factor. He is followed by other white leaders, though females. Below that, we do have some minority representation but none at the top corporate level of our team. The rest of US Foods is the same as you indicate. It's expected when the three members that are suppose to enforce violations of conduct and internal policies are all white (HR, Compliance, and Security). This would be a problem in any corporation that I have worked previously but not here. One thing associates can do is contact the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and they can investigate. They will keep it anonymous in this type of situation. It has been weakened by less staffing by President Trump but they will look into this closely due to the size of US Foods and the clear proof of a ceiling for associates of color. For those of you who feel you have not been treated fairly in the past due to discrimination, you should also report it to the EEOC. They will provide protection from retaliation the entire time you are an associate here. I would strongly advise as to taking contacting them because it will force a change and make your career and lives, and those of your children and future associates, to be much better.

@121 I made a post about that in one of the other threads here. I think it takes us who are white to stand up and voice this sad reality. . It is not only the ELT positions, but all leader position's. If you search associates who lead a national team function , they are always directors or senior directors when they are minorities and vice presidents when they are white. Look withing your areas and you will see it is true in all corporate teams. The regions are different because the VPs don’t have national oversight, but those leading a national functions that are minorities are not vice presidents. Coincidence? I say not.

OMG! I looked at the names of all of our execs and you are right. There is no representation for the thousands of people of color in our company. They do have the women and 2 homosexuals covered. One is open and the other remains in confidence with a few of us even though he is married. All of that is good for the company but you are right. They need color to help identify the needs of our minorities.

Shouldn’t compliance investigate this? DH is part of the missing our sales targets and they keep shifting her roles while they fire the Asian American general Counsel for under-performance? If one looks at all of our executives, what do you find? As a white woman I should be happy a couple of us are represented but no one of color? Is there a ceiling at us foods for those of color? I am not accusing but I am asking.

That's the ticket! Take someone who has failed in her last position and give her the region I work in. We are doomed so I am going to start looking and take my customer list and data. I suggest y'all do the same because this ain't gonna turn out well. This is almost as fu---d up as bringing Col. Sanders in. What are y'all smoking lately?

They keep shifting her roles and she keeps failing. What special services is she providing to the ELT top brass that keeps her afloat? if we kept fu--ing up on assignments and didn't hit our sales numbers, they would bring us to our knees. Then again........

It’s been mentioned below. They are satisfied with a su-k a-s marketing plan. When sales slump, most companies hold their marketing and sales leaders accountable. She must be pleasing some of the ELT in things outside of marketing.
