‘You clearly don’t understand how much money he has and have no knowledge of the golden parachutes fortune companies give to folks at his level.‘

I understand. What I’m saying is I hope he loses all his money and has none left to fall back on. Karmas a b*tch and I hope it comes for him.

The Grievance Department and Appeals Department both have major layoffs on the way. The Appeals department will have major layoffs now that the audit work is winding down. The Grievance Department has started processing some of their work with AI and automated responses. There is dwindling work in the Grievance department.

When it comes to MA... there have so many reorgs this last past year that doesn't make any sense. You have Directors/Managers overseeing departments or people that have nothing to do with them. Cigna MA haven't replaced many department/team leaders who have left the org for almost the last 1+ years. They sometimes promote people into really needed leadership roles, but don't backfill the position left behind creating more work for others. We now have people reporting under a department that has nothing in common with the team. I imagine a major reorg after HCSC transaction undoing this mess. but so far I haven't heard of any MA layoffs.

I don't know how true this is, but heard that MA employees are "safe" from Cigna Layoffs as many MA employees have already left due to attrition and very little hiring of new staff. Many MA teams and individuals are being overworked and asked to take on more work. Many people are now doing two or more roles. However, it is not to say they are safe from layoffs post HCSC transition.

I am curious about MA too. I would guess some from MA will get laid off in October as they prep for the move to HCSC. Can anyone confirm?

Any info if this is primarily contractors or equal mix with FTE? I assume this is the one that will be more related to replacements hired in India?

David Cordani is a chump… any way to make sure he still gets his millions. I cannot believe he is attributing to the downfall of America. We as Americans need jobs to live and support our families as well. It’s truly terrifying the people who are in control. No regard for people and their lives. It’s sickening. Well I believe in Karma… hopefully he loses his millions and will see what it’s like to be laid off and unable to find a job with no money to fall back on.

What talent reviews? Also can anyone answer with more specifics on which areas are going to be hit? D&E? PopHealth? CE? Pop health? Nurse CM? Commercial or MA?
