Thread regarding Five9 Inc. layoffs

Does Ajay even know what CCaaS stands for?

Genuine question.

@1g5 I agree, they been closing eyes for too long. But at the end of the day their financial interests should prevail over personal connections.
Don’t you really think Mike’s decision to step out was voluntary?

@1dm you're giving the board too much credit considering our beloved current CEO is still running the show in here and on the board. said CEO is also pushing his nephew to be the new CEO. shocker right?

It’s just my speculation, but I think the board is very well aware of how they fu---d up with this hire. But the decided to keep him for now just to warm the chair for the new CPO which will brought up by the new CEO.

To respond to the original post- early after he joined and was fully in place as CPO of a CCaaS company- he did indeed ask what CCaaS stood for in a meeting. He was like oh yes of course but it was more of a sign than we thought. He knew/knows almost nothing still. Literally. He can cram in advance of an all hands or state presentation to cosplay being coherent but if you actually listen to his words or ask questions- he’s truly oblivious and others seem not to care as much. (Let’s see if this post makes it)

@11m many of the deleted posts/comments didn’t break any of these rules.

All the posts I’ve seen deleted simply state Ajay isn’t fit for his job due to lack of education/skill and has shown some serious lack in character. Some had some very eye opening specific examples and I guess I see why those were deleted, but for the MANY others- I could believe that he reports them himself as to not hurt whatever external reputation he believes he has. I wouldn’t be surprised if this post was deleted too.

It's an anonymous site that's not connected to the management. Mods are the ones deleting posts, as they try to keep it clean from trolling and off-topic posts.

There are site rules listed in the footer. I haven’t read them myself - just came across this summary in an old thread. Here it is:

  • no threats & violence, bullying, slandering, personal insults
  • no politics or asking for votes (of any kind - political, union, etc)
  • no religious, racial or ethnic slurs
  • no personal names (it's ok to name c-suits as they are public figures, not ok to name a middle manager or an employee)
  • no doxxing - no personal info of any kind (regardless of one’s position)

@z2 You're right, strange for an anonymous forum to delete posts

@v5 What makes you think they're getting deleted? Also, What do you think is going on with these kinds of hiring decisions if merit and competence are placed as low priority?
