...aaaaaaand we're back to the regular rhythm of rolling layoffs. Everyone pick a number and we'll toss it in a basket for the next round. the more things change the more they stay the same.
I was one of the people to get cut. Got no call and had a meeting with my boss Monday morning. Then got the teams call after.
PD was today. Sounds like Marketing will get hit hardest this week.
WOOOOMP THERE IT IS
so sorry to everyone affected :(
@1dy well the only way you would have known that is if you had something to do with it, either hr or leadership so…
@g4 Got downvoted on this, but told ya so...
@16x stop it they have not 🙄
Some departments have started their annual reviews. That should be an indicator to layoffs happening soon. Perhaps end of first quarter like many have mentioned.
Starts next week 100%. Buckle up.
This all sounds like nonsense. But I also can’t understand what mentally sound person would hop on here just to lie and get off on messing with people - yall should unpack that in therapy.
My group's already been hit. We're all still there for a little bit longer, and have been told not to say anything for now.
@OP yes it’s happening. Jusy like last March. It’s Mattelsome get bonuses and some get the door annual event. (Sometimes bi-annual like 2025). May the odds be ever in your favor.
@xd get a life
@g8 I overheard HR talking today. You'll be notified on Saturday if you're safe. Otherwise, you'll get your pink slip on Monday.
Make sure you're by your phone on Saturday. If they can't get in contact with you, then they'll give your spot to someone else.
So... the layoffs that were supposed to happen in February and then were supposed to happen last week and then were supposed to happen this week are DEFINITELY happening next week, you say?
This website is pointless.
@g4 that doesn’t even make sense
Friday people will know and Monday there will be an announcement
It's Monday.
@eg isn’t it usually before promotions and merits though? That would make it this week.
My experience has been usually last week of March is when it hits
@bs first day on the internet? You’re supposed to tell us something we don’t already know.
First day on the internet? No one knows, for sure. Well, someone knows, but they ain't talking. Although typically, your Spring layoffs occur before end of first quarter. Which is March.
While your Fall layoffs, if needed, happen at end of third quarter or beginning of fourth quarter. Around October. Last year, there was a big shake up which lead to a late layoff in November.
Tomorrow?
@av yours, for starters
@at departments/roles targeted?
4 sure
