TDC can’t even fire someone the right way. ELT peers leaking a confidential search on this site a month ago is shameful. ME did all he could do in a cr---y legacy company. HA and NC will get theirs soon. #shameful

He was just a marketing guy. No respect for sales enablement. Saw that as beneath him. Teradata does not sell products over the web. CMOs are of limited value at TDC unless they can get the company name changed and acquire a cloud-native database.
Not a great time to be white, male, and over 40 at TDC.
@1fwa+1dSaSRyi - I have to say I agree with @1fwz+1dSaSRyi. It's not that great to work for M.E. if you are not one of those "social media girls and boys." M.E. has no understanding of TD product or related technology. He can't even explain what Vantage does beyond superficial marketing language. He has no idea how Vantage is being deployed; he has no idea how users use it. He thinks everything works like iPhone. He has no marketing vision beyond social media and branding. He can't even articulate sales strategy and sale enablement if it's not within the pretty box of social media and branding. As such, he treats those who are aligned with social media and branding functions totally different from others in his own organization. I guess at least our web site looks pretty nice thanks to spending SO much money to external design agencies. Except it’s not really leading to better sales because of obvious reasons.
@1fwz+1dSaSRyi that is the opposite of what the people who work for him say. He is a class act. Yes @mjm+1dSaSRyi NC is a joke, how he is still here is a wonder.
Good riddance!
- e. was horrble to work for, glad he’s gone.
NC or one of his McKinsey buddies or HA posted about the confidential CMO search on this site October 6. Classless ELT and all the finger pointing and back channeling is impacting performance and morale. SM should find the mole and fire him or her.
Wow - how can SM enable such behavior. An experienced CEO would not allow it. NC is a joke.
