If someone were laid off and received a severance, it's probably in their best interest to stay quiet until that money is in their bank. There's a short list of who knows what at this point, too much risk.
Can anyone speak to what departments will be affected?
If you were let go why not call out region or department ? Should be free to no?

I was told 2 weeks per year, minimum 8 weeks but I don't know if that is the same over all levels.

As someone who was let go today, I can confirm that there will indeed be an email going out tomorrow, and I don't post this jokingly. Its somewhat discouraging to see people scream "Lies!" and post nonsense when this is literally happening.
