Anyone hear that tests will be given to see if you still qualify for your job? Heard that even if you worked here for 10+ years you will no longer qualify for your current job if you fail their test. Anyone else hear this?

Yes there is a test that will apply to all. It is a 1 question test. Question:
Do you want to give Dave Cote all your money plus your pension and then work for free for HON for the rest of your life?
If answer NO, best to get a new job. Not that you will have a choice - all your jobs are being shipped offshore anyway.
Can't imagine a single test that would be applicable to many, let alone all. Can imagine the common scenario of forcing many to "apply for their jobs" again at some sites or in some departments.
The problem with this theory is cost. Requires overhead, and not to mention those in charge wouldn't want to be tested and fail. Only way this would work is if "Volunteers" were told to take the test on their off time. Even then expect a disgruntled workforce to skew the crap out of the data. There's no way this would fly. Instead they will bring in "Consultants" and rely on heavy layers of bull shiy from Manager year end feedback, which we all know is reliable, fair, and super fu(kin helpful.

Not heard of testing but Hon. Is known for making people apply and go through interview process for the job they currently have but not heard anything about that either. Bottom line is they don't need to develop more ways to get rid of people as they are leaving in there own.
come on now if you don't like the post on this site then just stop reading it. Funny how people like to complain about spelling and proper grammar but does it really matter? College education or high school we will all be out of a job soon.
I hope that this is true. Half of the people whom post on this site spell every other word incorrectly. I truly believe that we need to weed out the idiots, and this would be an excellent way to do it.
