Total waste of time.
Just a "results" type Shared Svcs Town Hall.
Negative, the people who make the most money will be in the first group to go.
So are we sure that massive layoffs are happening in October? I have less than a year with this company as a field adjuster, I’m assuming the newer people will be the first to get canned

NO town hall today, read the notice on AllConnect, it’s been rescheduled for next week.

I keep waiting for Tom’s hairpiece to get caught in his mouth mid-sentence and he starts chasing it around in circles the way a dog chases its tail.
Just saw the cancellation notice on my calendar. I don't see anything for the 4th though. Are they going to keep us in suspense now???

Not this town hall. Its scheduled for 12:25 today.
Town hall was rescheduled for 10-4-24 which will allow for to be terminated employees to receive their notifications which start going out on 10-1-24, info updated on main page under “Town Hall date change”.
Perhaps the masses, need to understand they’re the masses and it starts with asking direct questions. The questions you want to know answers to, need to begin well in advance of these “lets all connect”.. think what’s trending, concerns, fears and put some upward pressure on keeping it real. Questions should be around a multitude angles of the same question if not getting what is believed a straight answer.
Today's Connections was a nothing burger. Same old stale Big Blue blah blah but Tommy also had some grunts on stage talking about how great their roles and experiences with Allstate have been. One particular neckbeard was from Claims so I would expect he is getting his walking papers shortly.

We were told it’s mandatory. They’ve been updating it processes and procedures in right answers. There might be hope!
Today was the Allstate Connections meeting with Tom. Tomorrow is the Shared Services Town Hall.
Tom was great as usual. Lots of good info. I no longer want to leave the company because of this great man and his inspirational comments
