i am indian and let me tell you, being indian is actually a great thing. we have beautiful people and we have ugly people. just like any race. I for 1 am a great person, have great friends, and i take care of every one that is in my life and i am glad to do it, and for that i have people that love me around me. also, indian parents are one of the best parents you can have. sometimes they can be really strict, but they will take care of you no matter what, and they will buy you what ever it is that you need. as long as your not a selfish ****head. Also, we all have great jobs, lots of money and a family that we all love and take care off.
Rampant racism from Indians in IT management roles towards everyone. Have you ever attended one of Kamal’s internal meetings? When you do, you can observe first hand. The caste system is alive and has infested Allstate.
There’s no real ethics team or HR anymore. They’re only around to protect the brand, not the employees. If you have no evidence of wrongdoing, there’s nothing for them to do and they won’t spend anytime worrying about it. We had this come up in our office and they were very relieved that there was no evidence.

@6vvf+1sLOxwya The "Ethics" team are useless if it is a white employee making a complaint for racism against a black employee. Have see them do nothing a few times and it ends up getting turned around on the white employee. And HR? Bahahaha!!! They will be 95% AI within the next 60 or so days.

Per the employe code of conduct, if a colleague has expressed to you that they’ve encountered racism, you are obligated to report that under the Speak Up policy.
You can open a case with HR or submit a case to the Ethics team, including anonymously via the 1-800 # or iReport.

I recommend submitting an anonymous report via iReport using a non-work device while your device is attached to a public wifi away from your home (like a Starbucks or Target).
People are just tired of everything being about race. And blaming discrimination on everything that doesn’t go one’s way. It’s not because of your race that you didn’t get the job. It’s because there was a better candidate. It’s not because of race that people are saying mean things to you on this app. It’s because you are saying a bunch of phrases that have been drilled into you to say but that don’t actually mean anything. We don’t always get what we want and that isn’t because of what we look like, it’s just because life doesn’t always work out how we want. And that happens to every race, gender, s* preference. People would get along much better if we didn’t listen to the politicians and news media who say we are victims just to get our votes.
New to this site- 90% of the comments on this site are racist- I wouldn’t pin that title on the company, but would on the backwards thinking clowns who are posting about this. It isn’t 1960 anymore- grow up
Allstate’s been offering discounts for POC for over 2 years, where have you all been. It’s what companies do in 2024.
I was wrong, now with @2qsl+1sLOxwya posting it does get even lower.
Most of the black managers I know were low or average performing and are quite unprofessional. A lot of these are simply "AA" hires and so Allstate can meet those quotas for government $$$.

Impossible, as a POC, only whites can be racist. Sounds like you need to check your privilege. Typical cis white male.
Most of the African American leaders I have experienced in my 12 years at Allstate have been openly racist and they get away with it. They don't hide their racism at all. Because they will just cry racism back. It's pathetic.
Can you provide us with some examples of what you’ve been experiencing?
Oh my, it's bad enough that there are overtures of racism at Allstate. But now we are also dealing with gangs in our company? Must be some sort of Chicago thing.
Assuming you have a valid concern, why not write this in an articulate way? "Ok gang I'm white he's not?!" - doesn't exactly lend credibility
Pray for them. Try to look for the good qualities in your leaders. If they are anti American Anti principles Anti love, get away from them by getting a new and better job outside of this company.
