Anyone know anything about nicu and pac utilization review nurses moving to a centralized unit? They told us it would be happening on Dec 4th. But no one knows who the supervisor or managers are or how this is going to work. It just doesn’t seem feasible with all different state plans .

Yes. MHN UM is moving into Shared Services PHCO. Other MHN functions are either moving to Health Net or EBOS (also Shared Services).

I don't know dates or specifics but Centene has largely moved UM from health plans into Shared Services over the last couple of years. It will all be centralized and they are working on processes to account for state requirement nuances. You may only support one market if volume calls for it, or you may support multiple if not. A substantial chunk of the October layoffs were related to this transition.
