Is this going to be an interesting year as it relates to NXP Semiconductors layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

From the UK perspective, layoffs are possible and the increased turnover is concerning. Too many UK managers seem more focused on self‑protection than leadership, driving a blame‑oriented culture that affects both local UK employees and teams abroad.

@44r Expected the layoffs to be announced at this last financial results just now. Maybe they are not doing to layoff?
Is it coming week or so the 1st round of layoff gonna happen this year in EU?
@1jt I've seen just spontaneous applications that are used just for marketing purposes and to train AI algorithms

@1dr I saw some openings recently in LinkedIn for automotive domain. I assume that they want to strengthen only their core business. Based on all the chatter around, the RF division and Fabs were hit massively
Blurry vision, no strong leadership and many senior managers don’t even care much anymore. It’s a sinking ship.

Quite certain it will happen. So far a 6mo+ hiring freeze across Europe (excluding the bare minimum required manufacturing operators)
