@1dp Not a manual, a check list, that's all they know how to do. Lol
dont train - be vague - if they are a new hire they should be asking questions especially if they are above you - Schwab is notorious for that They probably want you to create a manual they can read out of - we all know that is how they know things
i would like to nominate onboarding india for Platform and Network. it cant be any worse than we have and at least it will be cheaper. they would do a fine job imo
I’d be prepared if in STS
No I am a full stack developer here in the US and they are hiring in India through a third-party contracting company Infosys. They are mirroring the same team in India with 2X head count and we are asked to interview candidates finalize the candidates and onboard them. Manager said they will be shadowing our US team and learn all the processes (build/releases/hotfix/compliance/DR etc etc) and we are not hiring anyone here in the US that's what I've been told when I asked about the new hire in India.
Are you on-boarding the senior leader? I understand he’s the only one that has been hired in India.
Genuinely getting tired of our country selling out our own people for foreigners so that a company can make an extra buck. I don't care about being called racist anymore, I don't like this and I want it to stop.
This is just sad
Make them ask questions - you don't know much - send them around the loop
