VTP for Leg T union workers June 15th.

Just heard from my supervisor who said she heard it from her boss's boss's boss that they're preparing for many workers to leave when the VTP is offered on June 15th.
Please stop. There will be no buyout. Boo hoo… get over it or quit.

Many of us think the VTP will happen eventually, probably June 15th, and when it does happen, we'll laugh in the face of all the dooshbags who swore it wouldn't happen. Just remember this specific post and know that it is you whom we are laughing at. Hahahaaaa! :D

The OP and many of us Leg T/CWA workers think that a surplus declaration will inevitably happen sooner or later now that the "watermark" has been eliminated from our labor contract. Many of us welcome this, which means VTP will happen. It's a fact. Anyone denying this fact simply doesn't understand how this works.
I suspect this is the last Leg-T contract.

Agreed that most of us WANT to be laid off. Also funny that my manager admitted to me that she's jealous and envious of our termination package.
Most of us Leg T techs believe that we'll eventually be surplussed, thus get our termination package per our union labor contract i the next few years - so it's fun to think about it. We do see our work, task by task, piece by piece - being automated, outsourced and off-shored - so it's inevitable that our jobs are going away - and that's okay. We understand that it's a win/win deal to get rid of us. We're just happy to not be managers because that would f u c k i n g s u c k. The two year paid vacation will be great!

My group has also heard rumors of VTP on June 15th.
When I'm getting paid for 2 years with nice benefits, I'm going to be lmfao every day. Of course the boot lickers are just jealous because they know their little job pays squat when we all get laid off.
