Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

High attrition

I hope that none of my colleagues will leave next week, since almost every week some people leave and it becomes harder and harder to work. Is there anything that could stop or at least slow down the attrition? Or is the ultimate goal of HON to replace all of us with less qualified, cheaper employees?

20 percent attrition y/y?

So In 5 years Honeywell will have turned over their entire workforce

Good luck with that

From 12/31/2019 to 12/31/2021 Honeywell lost ~25% of it's US workforce per their annual reports. Even with some hiring, outflow still ~25%, now that's some seriously high attrition. Talk about a toxic workplace that's been implemented.

1eqf - I put in my notice for a job elsewhere with less pay, so even that only gets them so far. You can't spend the money when you are dead from so much stress!

I was a 2 or 4 on my reviews for years before DA became CEO in 2017. Then he had everyone re-ranked at 5. No matter what I did: 50+ hours each week, extensive travel, mentoring junior engineers, helping out with duties that weren't mine, I still couldn't get anything but a 5. After 5 years of that garbage, I left. Until Honeywell treats and pays employees well, the exodus will only pick up momentum.

Very simple, all 1 and 2’s are leaving (9 box square). Thank you Darius and Karen for destroying this company. Toxic 2.0

HON's ultimate goal is to pay people as littles as possible while maintaining high productivity. HON is obviously failing. If HON wants to stop the attrition, pay people well enough that they can't get that level of pay elsewhere. But that may then cut into the compensation of the executives? Which seems to go up about 10% per year. The rest of us get nothing.

Attrition is actually low on product lines with active and growing investment.
So.. they did do something about it and you just havent gotten the message.
