@1cw only reason mfg might be overstaffed is because our leadership kept laying people off and now it's affecting quality, so we're losing business.

Rumor floating operators about to get hit hard in DM5. I’m not in that facility but the word was there was a meeting about MFG being overstaffed. Hope someone here has their ear to the ground over there.

I think a pretty straightforward and reliable way to see if layoffs are coming is to check if conference rooms, especially those in lobbies and on the non-secure side (ie before the badges), are booked. I know of some exceptions, but this should mostly hold true. We also have access to all rooms across all TI sites, so pretty easy to check everywhere.
