How likely is that there will be Marriott layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

No wonder why Marriott su-ks, this platinum member is going to Hyatt.
Wichita CEC and Omaha CEC merged into a 'midwest cec'....they laid off any core service managers with active written displenary actions. good folks with 8-20 years experience. the only folks who are left are the biggest snakes who are nasty. if you are good and working for the company they will find a way to silence you. Wichita cec had all of our site support laid off...despite the omaha location retained there positions now looking at all agent productivity in addition to normal duties....but the minimum wage in omaha is higher than wichita??? We had 3 core services managers and 4 site support positions eliminated.

CEC core manager here, just got laid off.
CEC Intraday, Quality Assurance, Flex positions, and Sr. / Manager roles were recently laid off. Also, the IT team within the US was laid off and will outsource their roles with another company.
The will be announced the first and second week of October
