Based on what people are hearing, when do you think layoffs will start for Medicare? We know there may be some with the integration work coming.

All this investment on IT integration!! How stupid if they are planning layoffs. This makes no sense
@17w after a year after acquistion…medicare division has a reduced headcount they need to meet in order to keep the acquisition costs palatable. They’ll have to make it work. Acquired company is not as lean as blue side. Should not be a surprise to anyone.
You might be dyslexic because leaving of your own accord to get laid off after joining a new company seems counter productive (to say the least).
I saw the writing on the wall and left shortly after the merger. I joined a new company, only to be laid off along with hundreds of others following a venture capital company buying the new company. This job market has been incredibly tough.
Blue man, is leadership going to be far enough in planning and analysis mid-March to actually do RIFs at that time?
Mid March RIFs on both sides due to integration are coming. It should not be a surprise to anyone.
It does make total sense that with the coming integration of HealthSpring and Blue people, process, and technology that there are going to be some RIFs. Why wouldn't there be?
TSA expires in mid-March for the conveying Cigna to HCSC employees. More noise may happen some time after that.
@df stop scaring people. Bloodbath is an interesting choice.
@df Why be so vague? If you know something give us something. Timelines, etc.
Layoffs are not only coming for Medicare but also company wide RIF. The blood bath will start soon.
