Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

PCC

Several partners have been told that a substantial M&A announcement is happening in coming few days. Any clues?

We ALL should have known that Avaya verified the acquisition when they got the layoff to DELETE the comment that stated Edify was the acquisition! It WAS the first comment on this Post!

Let's review.

✓ Shefali Special Projects Shah is assigned to focus on reducing headcount and country costs associated with Avaya International Regions.
✓ During this assignment, her fellow Zombie apocalypse Avaya leadership survivor, ST, begins socializing that she just may be so important that she is soon to be announced head of EMEA, possibly more, regions (also while constantly telling everyone that she is CEOs closest buddy, she is responsible for every big news that is confidential and about to happen, and she is the bestest, obviously). Oh. And everyone else, I mean absolutely everyone, is stupid.
✓ ML is on the war path despite not doing one thing to prove her worth
✓ Shefali Special Projects Shah is finally found to be a HUGE liability and is immediately terminated
✓ ML hires an SVP buddy in America's punching above his weight

Does this mean???
+++ ST is teed up to become an SVP in another region
+++ Wouldn't the abrupt dismissal of Shefali Shah expose the I'll conceived plan for EMEA?

Shefali Shah being strategic, insightful, pragmatic, productive legally sound and useful said no one. Ever.

Mr. "Hear me clearly" Alan has zero credibility , so ST is just following the examples being presented from the top.

ST didn't do the Zoom deal. That was all Eric Rossman. She is a liar if she claims that.

Oh my holy mazto ba--s!

ST has zero bed side manner within North America. Countless clients and partners cringe when she speaks. Imagine that "style" in EMEA or APAC?!?!?! She has the finesse of a Grizzly Bear 🐻 🐾

Avaya clearly is sending her to close down those businesses. It's the only explanation. 😢😢😿😹🥹

Last summer ST told many partners that a “strategic, deep, and game changing partnership with Microsoft is going to be announced in August”…

Got them all excited but nothing happened. When later asked about this, she used to frantically change the subject.

Now she keeps talking about how close Avaya is to buy a significant orchestration peace of technology. True or not, this is supposed to be confidential corporate secrets, whomsoever manages this buffoon should coach her to keep her pie hole shut!

Who cares - Avaya Management are all liars. The proof - their lips move and sounds come out of their mouths.

The most important statement in the article listed below is this.

“However, while all this seems rosy, it’s critical to note that Avaya is now a private company. As such, it may handpick the financial results it chooses to put in the public domain.”

Based on AM’s record on speaking truthfully, I’d be very wary of such rosy outlooks.

This placed story implies AI wouldn't be a focus. #CX acquisition more likely
My two sense.

ST has been running her mouth about "big name"....etc for about a month.

They need to manage her better. I presumed it was the zoom deal. But she can't help but really everyone how in the know she is. She's a liability for always running her mouth.

It tracks on multiple fronts.

  1. Analysts report M&A in comms is exclusively focused on CX
  2. Cloud. Cloud. Cloud
  3. AM playbook to acquire to growth
  4. Note the Analysts that's are NOT posting about being at the Avaya Analyst Summit at Torrey Pines. They KNOW. They are avoiding posting now for a reason. Otherwise they would also post about their "personalized cookies" such as the analysts who are NOT in the know are doing.
