Too many force leave in SG, some already took “advance leave”…does severance in SG always 1month/year of service?

no any news of layoff in SG, why???
What I heard is they lowered the ceiling to 18 mon. N+1 still apply. With a cap at 18 years. Didn't see this officially announced in company's email. Or maybe I am wrong
