A company doing well does not fire people so if they throw a lavish million dollar Xmas party there would be outrage, as is now.
Intel is not thriving. All their news has been rumors, while they are still laying off. ON-SEMI has had layoffs over the last couple of years. Regionally, IBM just announced layoffs. Wolfspeed had layoffs and is running a lean team in Utica.
The only one thriving is TSMC.
Don’t gaslight and get with the program. The AI revolution of job taking is coming.
Unbelievable, penny wise and pound foolish is how we operate. Take a look at our peer companies all thriving right now - makes you wonder.
Morale is toilet just like our stock price, how soon before we hear bonuses and pay increases will be lower???? Needs to be shake up at the top of Company and Fab 8!
Such a sad state of affairs right now in Malta, yet they keep saying build the pipeline for the future, where is 8.2? Packaging has lost traction already. Cuts happening without any announcing. Zero transparency, but give us some cookies. Should we bring the company issued silverware? Wait they can't even provide a meal. WHAT A CLOWN SHOW!
lol indeed - and the place is still full of managers that will give their people flak about not stopping by the cafe for the “party.”
For F8 specifically - If you are young / willing enough to shift career gears or swap geography go ahead and pull the trigger on that now. The building will always be here but the churn and what feels like the almost inevitable outcome that F10 went through (made to feel like step children and then sold off) really doesn’t feel worth it anymore.
Appears we’re spending the cash we have left to boost IP library (buying these no-namers) to make us prettier for bidders.
Beyond fed up with the gaslighting, and the insulting manner in which leadership conducts biz.
That probably was an idea from HR.
