Thread regarding Gainwell Technologies layoffs

I would be afraid to go into combat with these people.

The title sums it up. If I had a choice of going into battle with someone from Gainwell that I've know for 'X' number of years vs a complete total stranger. I would choose the stranger.

Why would I say that may you ask? Gainwell users would sc--w you over for a Hershey's chocolate bar if they could. This past week alone was full of mind-games, intentionally holding back needed information. If nothing more, but to mess with other people or gain an upper hand.

From the low man, to IDL's, to upper management. It's constant cloak and dagger. I would like to say that due to their low moral compass, they do not know any better. But these are educated people. They just choose to keep what Gainwell is know for, rolling forward.

Should upper management be reading these posts. Just stop with the toxic attitudes and actions that trickle down. You're supposed to set a positive example, not the other way around.

The company as a whole is the playground and it's over run with street bullies from the other side of the railroad tracks.

@1as Very good. This is the level of detail which shows something more than a bot response and provides something tangible.

From this response it sounds like you have some less than desirable people in your organization who are toxic. Hopefully your leaders recognize and delete these folks.

Also, I am not commenting or defending Gainwell, only calling out the quality of responses and repeating themes I've seen since beginning to watch this board back when I began.

There is indeed some narcissistic megalomaniacs in areas such as delivery and directly above it.

@17g

You could assume that your statement was factual, but considering there are a lot of unhappy people, not withstanding I, with Gainwell. I'm going to give you a 'thumbs down' for for assuming too much.

I have supervisors whom I or depending on who it is, aren't supposed to be more knowledgeable than them. And perhaps you do know more and exhibit that knowledge. They will go to great lengths to put you in your place at the next available opportunity. Better yet, try to set you up for a 'Gotcha' moment or find some way to push their authority on you.

One of the most toxic places/departments I've ever worked at in my whole career. When the powers to be make an earnest effort to keep you from being anything more than they want you to be, because it doesn't suite their purpose. Then you know you're in a toxic workplace.

When everything you say is scrutinized, not because it's wrong, But it is a means to try and put or keep you in your place. And again, set you up for one of those 'Gotcha' moments You know you're in a toxic workplace.

It really feels like the posts come from the same 2 people. No real information ever and it's always the same thing. Will you ever move on?

Blame corporate like Jaff for forcing us to comply and save our own jobs. Not all managers are cut from the same cloth.

I stay around because my BDSM mistress recently retired and I don't know how to live life without the pain.
