If you think AI will not take over your job. You are only fooling yourself. Start saving money cause when you get layoff, and you're looking for a job. Guess who your first interview will be with - an AI robot - most college graduates first interviews are now with an AI robot and so will yours. Look it up yourself using google search.
AI will take over more jobs then ever. Yes, even your job. Especially the high salary jobs and of course, routine jobs.
Amazon is laying off hundreds in the Alexa department due to AI.
@wypk+1oNY3pHY in short yes. The tech is only as good as the people inputting instructions.
If d-mb incompetent people use the AI does the AI meet their level?
@5kjs+1oNY3pHY. Agree. At the first place many of the manual processes should have been automated long back.
Never going to happen. So many’s manual processes that should be automated in 2023. It aren’t because -that’s how we’ve always done it.
If AI will replace the inept AVPs and bottom of the barrel employees, then I am all for it. Not gonna happen, ever. This company prides itself on an annual influx of empty buzz words and catch phrases, and that's where it ends. The lazy and d-mb, at every level, cannot propel any innovative advancements here. 90% are deemed successful on their PDP, so there's always that.
+1 for how slow people work here. Take months for every small task.
We are still trying to get into Cloud world, AI even if implemented, ppl won’t know how to use it.
@1ara+1oNY3pHY So it's not just me that has to deal with never-ending projects? I'm amazed at how slow people work at this company.
Staffed on what would be a 2 week project at another place but we are in month 6. Please let’s try some AI.
I'll believe it when I see it. I have coworkers that still don't know how share a file, much less get them to use AI.
Sounds good.
We'll see how it plays out.
