So many people on here have no idea what kind of company Qualcomm is. The main issue is that all the workers have no idea what kind of company they work for. Qualcomm's lead ship is working according to plan! Qualcomm's culture has gotten very political because no new products are coming to the market, so politics will come into play to cut payroll. You can be a great worker but you are still a worker and not an inventor so Qualcomm will cut you once you are too expensive! People here seem to be so confused and that is the issue not Qualcomm!

Qualcomm became toxic after Irwin left. It has never recovered. People stay out of complacency and fear.

Looking at Q’s financial decisions gives a great understanding of the company direction but you are speaking with engineers not business people. Engineers are a lot easier to lie to…. If the CEO says the sky is falling all the engineers would blindly believe….

Don't believe everything you think.

If you have been at Qualcomm for 9 years and still “learning” new things - YOU ARE the problem! You are the dead weight that is making young innovator engineers run for the door! And I would agree that people are very confused as to what the objective of the company is…. Follow the money and it will tell you the companies goals… and 99 % of the people on here have no idea what Qualcomm’s goals are as a company!

I have been with the company for 9 years now.
Certainly there is a lot of politics involved at Principal level and above but overall it is a very good company to work for and I still learn new things every day and enjoy the work.
There are people playing politics and people relaxing but there are also very strong technical people you can learn from.

Saying the same thing over and over doesn't make it more or less factual but it does annoy.

You could simply say, my conviction is unwavering and you will have said your piece.

Then, simply wait and see if anybody else agrees.

If you don't like the outcome, why repost it. That's my point.
