Got 3% raise in March, something I was not expecting.
Got excellent feedback from KOs - knowledgeable others.
Supervisor thanked me for hard work and doing such a great job and getting fantastic feedback.
In July, the same supervisor told me I was in the bottom and had to take PIP.
In 3 weeks time, the time given to decide, I chose to take 3 month pay and left in 2 days.
Found a new job, very happy in 2 weeks and there was no looking back.
The coldness, the arrogance, the heartlessness, the abruptness, the betrayal and the dishonesty are all unthinkable and unimaginable.
It reminded me of the mentally ill person Ted Bundy - he had no understanding of the pain he was causing to his victims. And this is how the ExxonMobil managers are - they are not physical k–lers, I am not saying that, but they have no clue how cold and heartless their behavior is.
For a week I could not sleep. I felt chest pain and felt ill.
But I survived and now I am actually happy this happened.
Without PID I might be still stuck at ExxonMobil.
I took a 10% pay cut overall, but this is not bad and well worth the better newer environment.
