What functionality still runs on the mainframe and what has been ported to Cloud?

Sad realization of modern tech is this: Mainframe IS the cloud. Everybody logs in to the same computer and shares it. The only difference in "CLOUD" today is that Amazon rents their 'Mainframe' and it happens to have a few more features. That's all.
A significant number of individuals in technical leadership roles do not possess a technical background. Alarmingly, many of these leaders cannot perform basic coding tasks, such as creating a simple "Hello, world" print statement in Python, even with the aid of tools like Copilot.
It’s a dumpster fire.
Fidelity tech is disorganized and decision making is done by incompetent people.
