I've heard from several corp. colleagues that this movo company has been contracted by 3M. Here's the website: https://movo.co/
If so, this would mean all trust is gone.
Can someone comment if this is true?

Changing of working conditions. That that violates the Contract Bargaining Agreement (CBA). That means personnel have to be made aware of it and it must be negotiated.
Oh, wait, that is only for those terrible union folk.
@1e1 What time exactly is “quitting time”? How are they going to account for the time away from my monitored workstation (at home) on night / early morning meetings, or weekends trying to catch up, or week long trips away from my family?
Found this under the work station today…
The FM:Systems Gen 2 Occupancy Sensor (Model OES02 / Part HW-SMRTVW-OCPY-SENSOR) is a, wireless, passive infrared (PIR) IoT device designed to monitor real-time desk and room occupancy. Part of FM:Systems’ workplace IoT portfolio (now part of Johnson Controls), these, battery-powered sensors (typically 3-5 year life) are network-independent, using proprietary, radio frequencies that do not interfere with Wi-Fi.
Funny, my VP didn’t have one in their office.
Big Brown is watching
@1dm badge reports have been an option for years. Remember an employee who always seem to be away from her desk except first thing in the morning. After enough people complained about her not getting her work done (she was an office professional), finally the manager requested and received a report showing she was badging out in around 9 am and only working part-time from home. This was pre RTO days. Turns out her hubby was on SS disability and was working an under the table job and leaving the kids alone at home. She got fired for time card fraud.
BB is truly POed that RTO hasn't led to mass voluntarily exits. Next up catch people doing what the OP was doing. Be aware that checking in each day and leaving later but before quitting time will easily get you fired for cause.
I received an email stating that managers are now going to be receiving reports of badge activity. Ensuring people are coming in 4 days a week. Makes you wonder if headcount reductions are coming again as the RTO didn't yield the results BB wanted.
@1a5 physical, motion detecting
@1bs crawl underneath your desk and reorganize your computer cords
@1a5 physical black box with an antenna. Not sure what where they hid them. Just know you are being tracked. Yeah, go team!
Sorry, but what do you mean with black boxes exactly? Where ?
Its a metaphor or actually a physical box?
Bill-ding trust!
@yt That’s exactly what those black boxes are for. Source: I know someone who was part of the crew installing them.
Crews installing several dozen black boxes after hours Friday night in the quad, can only assume it's this surveillance bs. Big brother bro, RTO or else.
they’re so cute when they say they can get it done better and faster. please do so, honey
@qz
will do. The collective will continue cleaning up the mess left by the retired boomers.
@qy golf in January in Minnesota. Lol! Have another gummy.
If you have been coming to work as required you have nothing to be concerned about.
@bv Nonsense...those who quiet quit do there jobs 100% and are better than most..they just dont do the extra cr-p...eyes wide open...quiet quit..do your job and pi-s aff home with no fu-s given
@a2 it makes me uncomfortable to know you're spending time thinking about me na--d working from home. Really gross.
@a2 nice Freudian slip there, chief.
Bring it. Anything to cut the slackers so the rest of us don’t get let go for the wrong reasons. Let’s put the quiet quitters out to pasture as fast as we can so we can move forward.
I’m guessing this would be for plants? I am having a hard time figuring out this would be applied in desk jobs
Hint: put on your clothes and get to work. That men’s leaving the house.
