RSUs with LR

If rumors are true with a May LR do you still receive RSUs that vest in June and July? There’s usually a 2 month period where you’re still technically an employee, right?

@19x we are talking two different things.. First if you get RSUs you are automatically target for next chopping block (unless you are one of them or chosen one). once you are on chopping block, you are true you will get accelerated vesting for 2months.

@19v Not entirely true. They give you whatever is vesting in the next 2 months from your exit date. Otherwise, yes the rest is vaporized from you account.

RSUs at csco is a scam, if you see yourself get lots of RSU, you will be on next chopping block and all 3 years worth of not vested will be yanked, some kind of opex math triggers you to be on next chopping block, unless you are the chosen one.

I was given 4 months plus 2 months warn act. So 6 months total of pay and stock vesting. Cisco offers one of the best severance packages I’ve ever was given.

I don't know if there is a May LR, but it wouldn't surprise me. They are coming for every cent on Opex and margins.

You get accelerated vesting, so even if you finished working, stocks that were due to vest in two months would vest in your end date.
Spoken by someone who was impacted the last year. I couldn’t wait to get out of there, it’s such a poorly run company.

what rumors ? I have not heard anything
they dropped quite a lot of people this time, mostly contractors but lots of them
not sure how much more they can trim

I've heard w/ past LRs that RSUs were given an accelerated vesting date and yes, generally get 2 more months on payroll before terminated.

It would be my assumption that if you were technically employed for those 2 months, you'll receive anything just as you otherwise would. The question would arise with rsus vesting in the following 4 months and I think that might be just something they decide from LR to LR
