It looks like more people will be let go in December. High-cost countries will be affected, but also Serbia and India. Serbia is usually left out (minimum impact) of the RIFs, as there is a huge turnover there, and Service Desks are decimated. Serbia is raising its minimum wage by January so entry-level jobs will be in the same range.

Atleos employees who are not meeting in-office quota are being terminated without warning. I know of 6 in the last two weeks. No job grade is safe. Watch out! The HR stooge-crew is soaking wet.
NCR Hospitality is BLEEDING people. The writing is on the wall, every week there are 'Updates' on LinkedIn of NCR Voyix Managers, Reps, and Support with new positions at the Competition. Yet, top management in Voyix remains. Was RIF'ed over a year ago after 10 years with the company, and still shocked by the direction the company is going.
NCR=Eastman Kodak of POS Industry, sure they are still around, but who cares?
@1qc Audio is recorded via the dash cam
2 tech got there cameras today installed front side and rear and according to to installer no audio is recorded however it’s to much already with a company trying to to place cameras on each tech wow
Are remote workers forced to be on laptop camera full length of shift and camera recording AFTER shift is over? Is the company phone actively streaming everything?
Just asking, because per Atleos the geofencing is “not functional” right now so when parked at home all external cameras are still recording and uploading data.
There are boundaries, a gps is enough, now video and microphones…, ohhhhh, with the cell phone updates they already had that, lol
@18t ok find another job, dude it's not your vehicle.
Big Brother comes to life. I would have many camera “failures”.
I once had a TM show up where I was working on a Friday afternoon to “make sure I was working”. Yes he had the b@lls to say it out loud. I thought that was bad. Cameras, not for me.
We have "Service Desks"?
@10p Triggered right, they did not want to be caught.
@zq They must have seen you drive.
@zq Cameras triggered two of our best techs to put in their notice. 50 years of service walks out the door.
Many Atleos RIF on Thursday last week. About one month ago, org executives were given a dollar amount to cut because the company needed cash flow for stock buybacks. They were told to prioritize employees who rated 3 or lower on 2024 annual review. Many great long time employees were shown the door.
Work vans have started being fitted with multiple cameras, one is located inside cabin. Logs every instance of speeding, hard braking, heavy acceleration, seatbelt etc. So far managers have not been very forthcoming with details about how the logging will work.
@fp So it is confirmed they are going to put cameras in the work vans then?
Now more with cameras installed on work vans
3 years ago they RIF on Nov 1, the forth quarter is RIF season, fix things before the year ends
Can we be more specific on these Posts as there are now two entities tied up in multiple geographies?
@OP there have been layoffs in December every year for the past 4 years. It would be news of there weren't layoffs in Q4.
