I recall someone said it… too bad there’s no way to operate a pool!

@ec another sports star. So pumped he is CEO material. It's the natural progression of things it seems. Most good power dies with internal phonies. History 101. Fu--ing phony.
@wk He did have amazing pocket squares though.
@18y truth Geoff and skippy and all their direct reports and 3 layers under them have enough evidence of this might be a matter of time to bring doj into this company now and audit of their m&a diligence will alone show how they make illegal decisions at this company
When will the board get rid of the disease also known as Bob effing Hopkins that loser equity research analyst from sh-t hole Bank of America?
Brett did measurable damage. Over his head sales guy who played favorites and was never afraid to throw someone else overboard to deflect accountability. Maybe he can go hang out at his vineyard and leave med device alone.
I smell another MDL in the pipeline
Skip would be even worse than Geoff as CEO. He is even d-mber and a pathological liar. The BOD has one job really… CEO succession. They have demonstrably failed at that task so far so congrats Skippy on yet another job you are woefully unqualified for.
Divestiture of the Neuroscience portfolio?
So you are saying, Skipp have been failing upwards? Is he DEI?
@dv more chess moves than what just happened??
@dv we have just heard skip is going to become the next ceo would suggest employees get after this and make your voice heard Kweli is trying to impress SK to show he can execute on a divestiture but the man is beyond incompetent when it comes to business matters
With all the recent moves and chess piece plays Skip has been doing, he is eyeing the big CEO prize. Skip was hired by Bret, did nothing in CST before anyone caught on, then Skip threw people under the bus to get a EVP role, and now suspicious that Kiewli (who currently reports to Skip) will take his old bosses (Bret) job. Coincidence? We may think Geoff is bad, but Skip may be even worse and playing aggressive to overthrow the current regime, may even be in EM ear. Be careful everyone, some major chess moves are about to unfold.
@dp Elliott better get rid of GM and SK and every mo--n general manager reporting into SK what a mess these losers have made out of our company 25 years as a scientist and I haven’t seen this type of rampant incompetence in business matters
Good riddance dude was awful. Now bounce Geoffrey and Skippy
@as ...that inflatable human from the movie "Airplane".
This guy is getting a severance, hinting at he was forced out to “pursue innovation in healthcare”, whatever that means. The new appointment of Kiweli is unusual, a business doctor executive with presumably a strong ego. He’s either a promising executive or just a puppet to sit there until a major divesture/sale of Neuorscience business is made with no mercy on us all.
Brett and Geoff were instrumental in the terrible Covidien merger. If EM is making drastic moves, they have final caught onto some C-Suite fraud and making major corrections. Rogerio coming from Eaton (FYI a board member is the former CEO of Eaton), axing of many executives, cutting of staff, shipping jobs overseas. If you don’t perform you, you are out. EM is nearing its negative position on Medtronic, if they don’t get their ROI soon, they will make some desperate moves.
So who's going to back fill Kweli?
Geoff Martha was another DEI hire. There seems to be a trend.
Geoff is next!!!!!!!
Was Brett Wall a DEI hire?
I got SO excited when I saw the title of the email….I thought the head DB himself was announcing his departure
Not a complete letdown, but I was ready to start dancing for a hot second
So is this the precursor to big G getting escorted out???
@a5 what is the DOJ reference?
No surprise 1 more LCOV leader is gone, soon the entire ORG chart will end with MDT leaders
Ohh nooooo….. anyway
His incompetence was one of the worst-kept secrets. So said the DOJ...
Couldn’t happen to a better buffoon
Awesome news!!!!
