Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Strange. The one post that provided specific wording of the metric they're measuring, and advised about a California law in the works that will negate it, was deleted.

No agenda what-so-ever.

Again, they're measuring "business application usage" and if your'e in California, educate yourself on the "No Robo Bosses" State Bill 947. You can't be fired over AI monitoring.

Pretty soon they'll assign air tags to keep on your person that will have your exact location during business hours.

@182 that's not why. RTO rules are meant to get people to quit, period. not complicated.

Is it really that surprising we’re here because people couldn’t follow basic expectations like showing up and putting in a full workday? It’s not complicated.

They could use a seatbelt along with sensors in the seat. When I unlatched it warns you on the computer to hook back in and focus. Too many unauthorized departures from the chair results in extra time you must stay in the office added to account down time where is it appears on the screen.

Waiting for them to rig the chairs sensing if you are sitting or not.

They just request to pull the hidden camera footage for the dates that you claim to be in.

your manager is responsible for counting how long you remain green on teams otherwise, they start docking yellow and offline minutes from the 8 hour work day. once they are finished calculating your daily green minutes, they run to their manager to let them know and it is then added to a spreadsheet shared with hr who monitors this daily. once the week is over, everything is calculated on Sunday by the representatives in India who then score you and provide those details to your manager on Monday so they can humiliate you for being green for anything less than a solid 8:00. rinse, repeat on the stagecoach. I hope this helps.

@c8 They look at stats in aggregate, averaged over time. The idea there's someone monitoring over a data feed of badge-ins that should have seen the lady that passed away is inaccurate. Security on site should have noticed, maybe, but the idea it would have been seen from the in-office monitoring report is silly

Remember the movie Total Recall with Arnold Schwarzenegger, where he had to extract that device from his brain through his nose with that tool. The device is how they track you (Mr. Quaid!).

Someone somewhere can see where you log in from and, when you badge in. Apparently they don't check it every day, if they did, someone somewhere would have noticed that gal who was dead at her desk for 2 or 3 days, never left or wasn't getting any work done. Even then, no one noticed. Not until things started to not smell right, no disrespect to the deceased.

The focus room monitors also have thermometers where they check the heat of your chair after you're gone for the day.
