Not true. Some of us are looking for a new job that won’t end up like L3H.

My reasons for coming to L3 Greenville were trashed with the merger.

LOL. Still employed here watching the unqualified on their phones being hired because of a shortage of their type. Is what it is.

As usual, a whole lot of “qualified white men” are telling on themselves with the real reason they got laid off - they’re hugely unlikable bigoted a--holes who no one wants to work with.

Good luck winning contracts with this administration after embracing DEI to the point of quality failures. Looks like L3HARRIS backed the wrong ideological horse on this one.

You can thank id--tic leadership. They take resources from the sectors doing well to bolster their failing personal pet projects that SU-K!

Yes, DEI is a huge issue at this company, they push the rainbow bs worse than any ice ever seen, and it always ends with less than qualified h0mos and dindu's "working" jobs they have no business even thinking about...meanwhile they will let intelligent, hardworking and well qualified white men go because they don't fit the progressive bingo card box.

SAS in Clifton did not meet the target reductions last year. June is what we've heard.

@1ds I don’t like the cop out of layoffs, but I do respect facing the employees Live right after a RIF..

It beats a DINKY email at 5pm to explain things and leaving site leaders with no tools or help to help with morale sink.

@wg they will do them before IMS Live. And Jon R will tell you how great everyone is doing but we needed to make cuts to stay competitive or some BS like that. All these old LM leaders in IMS are not working.

Any insights to the SAS/Military Displays layoffs? Aren't they doing modernization work? Last I heard they were working on some new bids too. Just seems weird to cut a work force as you're bidding for more work.

Just look for your Skip-Level meeting, and bingo, you won the lotto and picked to be laid off. Your manager will read a scrip, and HR will be sitting clueless and unable to answer any questions or concerns you might have.

@10t That’s funny. Legacy L3 people say Harris ruined what was once a good place to work. Sounds like Bill and Chris took two pretty decent companies and ruined them

I worked there in Van Nuys Ca for 15 years. Management turned over more than a deck of cards on a blackjack table. Bunch of chumps. Forced DEI down your throats but once Trump came in all gone. L3 ruined what was good about Harris. Old men in corporate got to make one more buck to put in their casket. Take the money with them.

@d6 Yes, when forced to hire to meet diversity requirements while NCGs sat on their phones and needing so much handholding you'd think they were a toddler...

But that was just a small portion of the problem. The larger issue is that the company over-promoted noobs with 0 experience to positions well beyond their capabilities, booked the revenue from the insane bids (including 'forgetting' to do T&E), and then moved them onto new positions just before it crashed down.

You've got an entire company that has half the staff 'newer' than 7 years when most programs last 10.

I got hit on the last layoff as I was changing jobs. And the NCGs that came in are still floundering and still being paid to play on their phones- and the leadership knows, but they'll get called on the carpet if anything happens to them before 5 years.

Yes reduction in staff amityville . JSF BRU 68 LAU 147 being shut down due to Biden cutting the jsf budget for lot 18 . It’s going to be 18 months before a restart or more. Parts long lead items. They tell use we will be moved around to other areas to save talent.
Other areas not busy to retain the amount of talent on jsf. Management does not want the talent jumping ship before the competition of lot 17.
There raises show there real need to talent. Average raise 1.8 percent. It’s a statement don’t like it leave.
The employees that have been laid off last go round all got more money at there new companies. All found new employment .
