Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Na na na na !!!

Retired during covid, best thing I ever did for my long term health. Same cr-p I was seeing 5 years ago, I'm really surprised they are still in business. Took my full lump sum pension before it changed. TFG !!!

@OP I got a call during covid for a one on one ,I had taken a job for the call center answering incoming calls .I knew exactly what was going on. Went in got my package(best thing that could have happened). My Ex boss called me months later ,they "sent " him .I gave him my lawyers # .

I left in 2017 after 32y. My left in 2021 after 32 y. I slid out with 32w salary and benefits continuance. My wife gave her two weeks. We both rolled the 401 and rigp over to IRA's. Combined we walked with $1.7m. Invested in a fixed income ladder FDIC bank CD's and Treasuries. Zero risk unless the treasury collapses. We are getting about 4% at this point. Our small vintage reseller bus and my just started SS total about $6k per month. We nibble about $20k per year from the now $60k in interest. I post this to show tl that the dream is possible. Not rich, but secure. Good luck.

Certainly does feel good to be away from it. Moreso, the bad leadership.
