@17b, let’s be clear on terminology. It’s Low Cost Growth Location.

Pittsburgh is not a growth location. Robin recently said multiple times in interviews investments and wealth are areas where they want to grow. Yet we just had major job cuts in W&IM which contradict this. The only thing they want to grow is Eliza use and Pune.

Once they took Mellon out of the name, the picture became pretty clear.

Pittsburgh is actually a laughingstock. Zero talent and high pay for them to know sh-t. It’s embarrassing

Gerald Hassell loved BNY. I would need to do some virtual digging, but I think he made about a 10th of what our great leader now makes.

There is actually no such thing as a Strategic Growth Location. They changed the language and now the G stands for Global. Don’t believe me? Check my sources.

Lake Mary has been disappointing, so that's not a SGL either anymore

LOL….
News flash OP,
As far as BNY is concerned, Pittsburgh never was a growth center. At least not since the days of Gerald Hassell. And Robin views Pittsburgh as an opportunity for greater and deeper cuts. The rotting hulk of the 500 Grant street building with the Mellon name erased is a reminder
