Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

APB results

Hey all, I have seen a couple threads asking about pro-rated APB. I worked in Aloha and left July 31st so I asked a friend about the pay date. He said the 17th, so I checked my pay statement in Workday and it is showing up. I was happily surprised. My pro-rated amount for 2025 was almost double 2024. So if you still have access to Workday you can go check your APB.

@16q Correct. If you didn't see a payout on the 17th, you didn't get one.

Intel bonus scheme sc--wed up, diff between avg and top perf approx 10% payout, I stopped years ago long hours for extra 10% bonus, focus on side hussle and coast at Intel. 40k bonus for top perf, I got 36k. same extra hours in side gig netted me 20k.

@13r I'm not sure what the actual requirements are. Worsteam access was in your package paperwork, but the payout was on the 17th. If you didn't recieve anything yet you probably didn't qualify. Sorry

@OP I was let go July 31st 2025. I was fairly a new hire at that point of time. Am I eligible for any APB? How do you still have access to your Intel workday?

@pa Well said- same boat as you with 25yrs experience on the floor. Intel did it's job of enabling me to buy the house, make the 401k contributions, and retire (forced) at 60. Now, every day is a Sunday ;) Such grave faces from the AM and my managers during that 'special meeting' in November: I was giddy. Ha! I was a little irritated as to the reason given, but it's all in the past now. Best of luck to those toiling away in the fab now. If they can pull it off, Intel has some great products on the horizon, it sounds like.

Per commenter below, pleasantly surprised with ABP of 120%, highest I've had during many years at Intel that was paid out Feb 17. Plus got the full 47 weeks separation and the extra weeks, sabbatical, and a year of accelerated RSUs... ; it got me passed the finish line so to speak. My best advice is tech is crazy, and even crazier these days. Max your 401k put 15%+ of your income away, don't live on what you make, it will take the stress out when invariably the job gets eliminated, and at some point, it always does. In my particular case, CPM was good to me, thanks for saving over 30 years, but I recognize others' are not in the right point in their careers to have the same and it is a very stressful time. I do wish my former colleagues best of luck, it's been a rough stretch at Intel thanks to various highly damaging executive decisions, but there are many good colleagues there that I wish the best for.

Got laid off in November 2025 in the US and have been waiting for the APB results and the payment. APB hit my account at business close on 17 Nov and to my surprise, it was the second best payout I have received in the last 10 years! I am very happy as this extends my runway to find the next exciting gig! I am also grateful for my timely exit with a generous severance plus a fantastic APB. I will be very surprised if Intel is able to sustain delivering similar packages to the employees who will be laid off in 2026 and beyond ( I hope it can...). With this final payout, I have no more dealings with Intel. Adios and good luck to those who remain inside!

Never has been 2x a paycheck let alone 1.5 or 1.75 a paycheck. If you don't stuff 50% pretax into the 401ks or go income tax exempt you will be taxed by the IRS man 40% gone. ELTs get the bank roll. BS PowerPoint artist with weekly word salad of so so accomplishments or restructuring management areas leading to more VPs robbing us blind.

Workers won't get theirs until the ELT is made whole.

@b4 yes, there is a tracker and it’s very sad. Don’t get excited. We are being beaten while the numbers have turned around. I’m still wondering how they are doing insights when there was no OKRs this year. How can you grade with no goals or real metrics?

What you're essentially saying is that last year APB was severely cut, and this year it's in the normal range. It's good but nothing to be celebrated about.
Track the yearly QPB, you'll get really disappointed. Several years ago accumulated QPB resulted in an extra month of pay.
