Thread regarding PNC layoffs

All Hands 4/22

Hour long meeting full of insults. The idea that working in office will foster conversation and innovation is, as someone else has said, a fat load of kwap. There are SO many reasons for why this isn't going to go well on the 4th, but I don't want to beat a dead horse.

I'm just tired, man.

Was this the one where Billy said he wished the war in Iran got worse because we could handle it better than the competition...or something to that effect?

@OP can someone post the all hands meeting so the world can see the way we are treated. We went from being praised for our commitment to keeping the bank functional during the lockdown to being sh-t on by leaders all while generating record profits. Makes total sense if you're an a--hole. #NewCEO #BillResign

What I find funny is there are a lot of business owners complaining that with the NFL draft they did not get a lot of customers. With hundreds of thousands of people in the city, you would’ve thought they would’ve done better but it just goes to show people cannot always afford to go out and eat. They may pack their own food to save money. Pnc employees coming in to downtown to work is not going to change anything for downtown. In my opinion, that is the reason we are being forced to come downtown as well as use the buildings for all the money that they put into the real estate. Just know with more employees in the building comes more expenses.

I know the NFL draft is coming to town. I didn't know the circus was too. Main act verbal gymnastics

They are pandering to the top dog because they know this policy isn't going to look pretty so they must do their damnedest to enforce top dog's executive order. We see this everyday in politics. "You better be on my side or else" "2+2=5 you better agree with me"

And besides, the RTO is nothing about fostering conversations and innovation. It is 1000% without a doubt all to protect real estate investments. As someone from reddit bluntly stated it a few years ago: "This idea that wealthy land owners aren’t allowed to lose money ever and that somehow regular people Need to make this their problem and be-doverbackwards to secure these profit margins for them is old fashioned and tired. Your property valuations aren’t my problem. Hope you get ruined actually."

Talking about V? That is all they can do. Yell at anyone under them to look tough. Actual playground bully mentality.

Anyways, only a few managers under them are actually thinking this is good. Most know it is a joke that going to fall apart sooner rather then later.
