Thread regarding TransUnion layoffs

Managers are puppets!

Manager I/II/Sr are all just puppets. Scared little puppets with no real power other than forcing direct reports to work twice as more hours, take on more projects and assignments. All for a badge on the loop and thank you email and a well deserved layoff in couple of months.

It’s these people who are ornamental that should be let go. There are more manager layers for a 4 member team than necessary.

TU had a great run during pe-k and kapoor era. Ran out of hope for any course correction.

Squeeze every cent out of TU- VA and team!!

Speaking of the manager delegation experts and overtime, does anyone else have a manager that refuses to approve your time sheet if you record more than your required 40 hours of work per week? Isn't falsifying time sheets illegal? what if you worked 80 hours in a week but your manager tells you they will not approve your time sheet unless it is the exact req. hours only. Do not report more or less or your timesheet will not be approved. This place is an absolute joke. They layoff people that actually do real work, pile the work on those remaining and do not want upper management to see that their workers are working more hours to make up the difference. Which justifies the next round of layoffs. Makes total sense (insert sarcasm here).

@14f Good will not return to them, that is true.

The ones who stay back and infuse toxicity into daily work - constantly harassing people with their insecurities, they think that they got away with it because they are not facing the consequences of Karma. Karma isn't only what happens to you. It is also what happens to your family and you are not able to help it - that pain is even worse Karma.

My manager under SN clearly knew about the layoffs in advance, and my lead, even she also acted as if she didn’t know, even though it was obvious she did. Their reactions afterward made the situation feel very insensitive. Good will not return to you anyway in the future. I hope you are next!
