Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Common Operating Model

Engineering, ops and development reorg rolling out this week to "align" every market to the common Operating Model. As far as I can tell it's the same as the area model, just shuffled around.

@14p To be fair, I do know a number of other T-Mobile Directors and Sr. Directors who act just like Lori. They're scared of hiring people smarter than they are because they're so insecure in themselves. All they want is to be stroked and told everything is fine.

@11h Engineering is the heart of the network. Lori’s vision is skewed toward how Sprint ran their network, over spending, analysis paralysis, and little to show for the money and time spend. Too much bureaucracy. She’s already fired a number of well respected, “get sh!t done”, leaders and replaced them with puppets that only know how to talk in circles.

Look like the big diference now no mater where we will have 1 Area and 2 Markets...Meaning markets will be merged...under one Area...Meaning more cuts specially in the markets...

Is the CRT role going away? If it does I wonder what it means for techs like me that are no longer to perform field operations role and I don't live by a switch.
