@1n2 @1bg
Agree! I'm in design too, what's the point of spreading rumors?

Can confirm that Jason Deelstra is awful at his job. Why is he so protected? Please someone give me a reason why he is still here. His experiences and ideas are hemorrhaging money. Can we please get the board of directors and investors investigate his corporate spending? Can’t imagine how much his salary alone is.

@1bg this isn’t accurate, I’m in design and we only had 3 people leave during June. 1 person fired and the 2 others put in their 2 weeks and left. Head count has stayed the same otherwise.

@18y the guy literally shows up every day, walks around being an a--hole, goes on trips, hypes up all the sh---y swag they waste money on and then uses that swag to go golfing, likely on the company dime because he's "testing" it out. Spends the rest of the time investigating who is giving him poor scores on feedback surveys while demanding all of us on his team hype up his slide decks to oversell the work he's doing. Total kiss-a-s who should have been one of the first people laid off years ago. Mary would do herself, the company, and the team a huge service by getting rid of him.

@zt so far layoffs in June
Insalll - 40
Customer Engagement - 40
Field Sales - 35
Design - 22
Branch Ops/ Warehouse - 14
Service O&M - 11
Technology - 10

Additionally, there will be more exits getting processed this week and the following but unsure of the number and impacted teams.

If the company is doing so poorly, then why can Jason Deelstra still make the amount he makes? His role is so expendable , does zero work, and the work he does do includes going on RunX trips and getting FIFA World Cup games that he intentionally selects for hype incentives so he can travel and go to sporting events for free. Thanks CoachD for literally nothing.

@171 being in management for over 5+ years at this company I can tell you HR just enforces but leadership like Patrick Kent and Heidi are the ones setting the rules and determining how much heads need to be cut and money saved.

@143 HR have been drafting a lot of new performance metrics across the teams in order to terminate faster without having to do severance. Including tougher goals and not to mention leaders know how to manipulate the data and ensure the people they want to keep are not impacted by new performance rollout.

There has already been several terms for CXPro , OPs, Care, Design, and field sales. So many people getting terminated and deactivated in the system. Will be more exits in Q3 specifically after the Q2 earnings call.

Anyone under Karly and Heidi’s org should always be worried. If they don’t lay you off they will try to do it using a PIP. They don’t know how to build up their teams because they are kissing everyone else’s a-s. Maybes it’s just Heidi’s family though, heard her sister Hilary a manager in inside sales isn’t any better.

@s7 one of the most laughable statements of all-time. Sunrun has been in a constant state of layoffs since COVID. There is no job security here and twice a year you can expect to be let go. Either in Q4 or the start of the year. Like clockwork.

@s7 there was a lot of layoffs and reorgs just over the last few months. Some of the other channels like Multifamily had a lot of reductions and roles were eliminated that led to quite a bit of layoffs. To top it off, even more automations are being built with AI and plan is to reduce even more headcount in the upcoming months.
