REG was a well run small company until Chevron decided it needed to be in biodiesel to market itself as a part of the renewable energy wave. Once Chevronized with all our processes followed by cutbacks along with Chevron (and all the other majors) pulling back on renewables, this small OpCo was doomed. I doubt the people in Ames, Iowa knew what hit them as they have gone from drinking champagne from the buyout to Chevron Kool-Aid back to Iowa corn made moonshine and mash. Poor ba----ds.
Sounds like some former employees just need to get on with their lives. #su-kstosuck
