Layoff Freeze until 2027

There will be no planned layoffs for the rest of 2025 and all of 2026. This is confirmed and verified. Your job is secure. I repeat. Your job is secured until 2027.

@bh. I'm not sure if this was a typo so seeking clarification. What does it mean to be "remote workers who return to campus"? Why would FTEs who are remote but returned to campus be a target for layoffs?

wong......wrong....wrong.. it is never scure in this business. you can be gone any time. telco has an unstalbe customer base. cutomsers can leave the spot for another telco to go to the internet companyt or another telco. Then the ceo must do what he must do. don't think you have a future anytime in telco. Then you must think if you got back ground which is not from america....or amrergio.....you gonna suffer.....the ceo can't do anyting. the rest of the game gonaa take care of it. hee.he.he

any layoffs between now and the end of year has a lot of risk between NPI and holiday freeze. Between January and June of 2026 - not so much.

Directors and VPs could be let go as part of the flattening conversations this year.

I do think RTO violators, remote workers who return to campus, "low performers" / PIPs, etc.... are at high risk.

I have heard IT wants fewer contractors, so that might be a saving grace for FTE IT peeps.
