Thread regarding CVS layoffs

No check on first day of severance period

Today I should have received my first severance check (direct deposit) and there’s no check stub in colleague zone and so far no direct deposit. WTF

it's not immediate and definitely doesn't go by the pay cycle you're used to. to the person who said you can't check the internal site, kind of. you're given a link to workday with your cvs ID and a password to check that information once you're separated.

@11t Yes, you get access as a separated employee to Work Day so you can access your prior paystubs, severance pay, and W2.

Did they say anything about layoffs, I missed the first two hours of the all hands this morning. I am at HQ for the all hands

You are separated, getting severance and can check internal web pages?

I think someone is making something up that is not TRUE....AKA BS.

Did you sign your separate agreement? I was told it would take a few weeks to process and we would probably get first check end of month. Don’t you love that they sent the COBRA info after the first of the year.

What are you hoping to gain by posting your grievance with severance on this forum?

Spoke with HR. They can see it in their system and I just need to “wait longer”. Awesome! Typical CVS dysfunction!
