2 Red periods on RTO (UK)

Hi, I have a team member (UK), and she now has 2 periods in last 6 months where she been 1 day short on RTO and therefore she is red twice on the dashboard.

What will the consequences be for her. She just got a confirmation of standards previously for her last offence.

It's totally legit to correct prior undocumented items such as weather related, transit, illnesses, etc, as long as they are legit... but if the employee is gaming the system, they are on borrowed time. They are also putting their manager in jeopardy if s/he tries to help. Maybe it will work out, but people need to be on board with this silly program or else.

@11m it is not new, I was red for the first time a few months ago and the people team told me to backdate absences if necessary and the tracker turned green after the update. My manager also told me to backdate any sick day exceptions etc. as that would make it on model. If you were let go for that, that’s a big problem as I know this is in the FAQ and Oracle that you have 30 days to enter in any exceptions or time off.

Is this retroactive absence update new? Is it written in policy? I was let go because I DID do that. If anyone can confirm, that would be awesome.

If in policy, can you copy and paste what is said? Thank you!!

D-mb. Just put in an exception day for being sick. She has two weeks to correct it or she’ll be terminated.

Why isn't she using the tracker on MySource? It tells you how many days you need and how many you have. It updates on a weekly basis, including any absences you put in for.

It's pretty foolproof, so ...

You can enter a retroactive absence day up to 30 days previous. Vacation or sick. Otherwise, she will be fired.

They really don't care as long as the employee is green. She should make sure the manager won't challenge. Only the worst d[u]cks who hate the person would [d]u-k her over.

Yeah, as stated above, use WFA or exception days to fix it. You can go back up to 30 days.

I know of one person on my floor who got fired because of RTO. He hadn't been in the office in years, so he just ignored the RTO bs. His manager also ignored it, and after the third notice, he was fired.
