Did anybody hear anything about them removing HR from Clifton? The only HR options will be by remote?

@63n He's got a job as long as he does what Melbourne tells him to do. If he fails, they'll ask him to discretely quit. That's how the last couple of directors left the company. They give them enough time to find another job, (maybe even help them with some old buddy contacts) and they slip out the door without much fanfare.
It won't matter. He'll just be replaced with another useless peece of sh-t.
A good start would be to fire Phil Forgione.
@10f 😆 One technician works on an R&O job and 2 other techs and the manufacturing engineer bang the same charge number?
That shell game doesn't work anymore Bobby. Time's up . You're out of bullsh-t and you're out of time.
That " production" from Van Nuys isn't that big. The work won't be that heavy. The new furniture is an old Clifton truck to give manufacturing engineers a charger number so they can dodge the upcoming RIF.
Painting, new carpeting, brand new work benches in the labs, new test stations and new transport carts?
What about skilled people?
You guys on River Road make me laugh
No matter how much lipstick you put on it, a pig is still a 🐷
There are upgrades going on in Clifton. Painting, new carpeting, brand new work benches in the labs, new test stations and new transport carts. A product line from Van Nuys will be relocating to Clifton as well.
@ph True enough. The property taxes alone are north of $1.1 million for a one million square foot building that is only 40% occupied and shrinking.
@k5 No need to upgrade. The property in it's present condition will easily fetch $30 million.
Any chance are there any building upgrades going on? E.g., paining interior/exterior, updating flooring, repainting parking?
Clifton since the merger:
Information technology support was outsourced, (how stupid for a defense contractor with classified programs to outsource IT!)
Leadership replaced with people from outside the industry (WTF???)
Benefits; moved off site.
Human resources; moved off site.
Procurement: Gone.
Supply chain management: forgetaboutit.
Skilled labor: Long gone.
The only thing left to do:
FOR SALE.
Mixed use facility, Fully fenced with guard house, 1,000,000 sq. ft., parking garage, prime location with access to Route 3, minutes from transit to NYC.
Great potential for mega-self storage facility!
Thought they were removing a lot more than HR from Clifton.
Good riddance
