Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

Surprised not more reports of RIFs

Certainly glad to hear it. I just thought we would have heard of more cuts, especially within Ambetter. And especially within Ambetter BH. Certainly hope it holds up for everyone, especially this time of year.

@103: No chance I’m giving more details just to try to convince you. Choose to believe what you want.

I’ve only ever tried to help people here by giving a heads up.

@103 It does seem logical to be in January. I think Sarah is a decent enough human that she will wait until after the holidays. But she’s gonna have to do something early 1st quarter 2026.

@zy What is your source? Dont put things like that on here unless it’s verified. People are trying to keep their jobs and feed their families.

Next round is in January 2026.

I would guess activity will now pick up since the Dems caved on extending the ACA subsidies. If Centene was a ship, it would be named the Titanic. I’d advise heading for the nearest lifeboat.

I think things are in a holding pattern. If DC doesn't re-open or the ACA subsidies end, I think there will be cuts, 100%. Going to take weeks to see how this plays out.

I think there will be as we inch closer to EOY. Easy to layoff around mid-December/Christmas, as a lot of people take PTO, with minimal disruptions to team morale (what's left of it).
