With all corporations this is the strategy and Oracle will not be left out. You'll see consolidations and all kinds of reductions. So far LE has been able to appease the gullible investors but not this round of earnings report. Based on that and if... — read more

Microsoft won a big contract with hp for big crm cloud deal. Expecting more customers to flee oracle and salesforce.
Entire cloud deal management team laid off in Bozeman on Wednesday.
87 employees laid off in order to have cheaper wages in Texas.
Oracle should sell hardware off to HPE and focus on a strategic partnership to continue solaris/sparc and HPE can focus on the customization.
I think this would solve the hardware profit decline and loss of customers.
Oracle should be out of business
Oracle is surviving by selling their crappy database product with 1990s level tools that are expensive but stupid and incompetent decision makers in some companies are dumb enough to buy this stuff and force others to use it and ruin their career. My... — read more
Expect to hear about layoffs shortly before or after earnings. I don't expect hardware and license revenues to be overcome by cloud growth.
Earnings report in a few weeks should be telling.
Good luck with this one http://fortune.com/2016/08/22/oracle-hardware-cloud/

BDC in Dublin.
I used to work in BDC in Dublin. Though a great school for junior sales, it was incredibly stupid as a job. People would create fake, million dollar opportunity, pipeline was a joke and the job was a joke too. You would be made to call clients just... — read more
Ever get amused at those "Life At Oracle" articles on the internal portal?
We see regular RIFs in different departments. We're underpaid compared to the rest of the tech industry. Our customers looking at alternatives that are cheaper and that don't lock them in. I wonder where the internal PR team finds these people with... — read more
