Just wondering if they are laying off at any other locations. There seems to be three main ones that are discussed on this site, surely those three are not the only places in the company.

Before the year is up Farrell will have Wheelers' position and Wheeler will be gone. Nobody has ever moved up this fast and hes not stopping where he is. Bank on it.

Mechanical and transportation will eventually be merged. All mechanical management will eventually be axed unless they are folded in under the transportation umbrella. Be governed accordingly!

NS new operating principles are that each major terminal have a 4 axle unit to switch customers that don’t have the trackage for 6 axle power. I can't firm, nor deny it but that's what I was told.

Carman furloughed at Bellevue

Farrells walk through of Juniata produced very positive feedback with the potential of a majority of work transferring to JLS as soon as his review of all under performing divisions are complete.

Farrell and some two other fellas toured RLS, RDC and possibly SCX today. RLS showed pretty well, no one caught standing around. Had some positive things to say about the shop
