Software engineer gone at NOV Orange

From what I'm hearing here at corporate, NOV WEST GULF BANK will be having layoffs tomorrow Tuesday 8-11-2015. The number being thrown around is 20. Best of luck!

I was one of eight whose positions were eliminated today. also had 22 who took the VERP (early retirement) back in the spring. So now 30 of about 160 positions gone. I'm done with the oil and gas industry. Need to work in something more stable!

Tomorrow will be a rough day for several NOV Employees. Hoping this is the last one but the way it looks there will be more coming before the end of the year.
