Any word on the facilities in this group? Layoffs, closings? After Springfield announced they are closing & Darby's manufacturing moved, I'm curious if there are any plans for Dayton, OH & North Andover.

I received a wonderful offer from Schlumberger today. A huge increase in pay plus lots of great benefits compared to NOV. Funny how things work out. Was laid off at NOV two days ago. That was a blessing in disguise!

Just wait until Iran comes back online....combine that with the normal fall downward pressure and voila, $32/barrel will be easy. You won't see oil above $70 until the end of the decade.

In December, NOV Fiberglass Systems will close its Mineral Wells operations permanently.

Do we have any updates here? Do we know what they are planning to do? I am sure they are not planning to decrease executive bonuses any time soon.

Can Nov close a plant, lay off everyone with a written notice including the last date for each person, not give 60 warn notice, then change their mind and tell people they aren't letting them go yet even if their date came up?

Any updates on 529????? Work is slow, I heard it's another 18 months.

What purpose do these people serve? High salaries but not much else. A glorified role really. Maybe they do stuff but I have never seen it. If they are not needed, save the people who are. Does every group need so many?
