Lawson Products furloughs in Chicago and Swanee GA
On April 13/14th 2020 Lawson Products furloughed some staff in the Chicago office and temporarily closed their manufacturing plant in Suwanee, GA. Counts are not known but it was considered as a "business decision due to current situations".
2019 will be a tough year for Lawson Products (and pretty much everyone else)
If the market continues to melt, we'll have to be careful. I am afraid a recession is about to hit big time.
No layoffs in Chicago so far
We had a few good years. The business is expanding for Lawson Products and people are happy at work. We'll see how long this lasts as many things can happen quickly.
