I have the same question as the poster below - Do you know what Kohl's California stores will be closing in 2014. I heard that there is a 2015 store closing plan as well.

Since 4Q results are announced Feb. 27th, they can use that as the reason for the big downsizing....altho the leaders don't really need an excuse, anyone working here knows there are days they don't do enough to earn their salary. Does anyone have... — read more

First you have to find them. Our manager sneaks in and out...that's if they show up at all. Never know where he is and his calendar always says he's " busy". He's busy but it's not at work! Lol!

We shoot the hard line and fashion images that marketing uses in their advertising . Seems like we aren't shooting as much as we use to tho.....vendors are supplying a lot of their own imagery.

Is the store in Milbrae, CA the only one that's being closed in 2014?

Why the Hugh influx of contract workers (mainly Quad Graphics employees) instead of real Kohls associates? The errors/corrections trying to get an advertising piece out has got to be costly!

Who ever said Eleanor was forced out. Don't see that anywhere in the Blog....so what if someone said she left.... I heard rumors that middle management was getting cleared out tho.

I know for sure that she wanted out for quite some time... I know for sure that she was paid no severance. So, go figure.

The "help line" for associates now goes overseas....mainly India, but South America too. If you're computer isn't working....you call someone in India! Amazing!

we outsourced ap and 100 people were let go in 2013. 2014 will be even worse for kohls, yet let us keep hopes alive...
